While Emma Swan has been preoccupied with trying to find her son Henry in Once Upon a Time’s twisted version of Neverland, it looks like she’s found time for a glimmer of romance in Season 3, Episode 4: “Nasty Habits.”

In a new sneak peek, she gets close to Captain Hook, sharing a heartfelt moment as they rifle through Baelfire’s old cave, which is covered with old drawings and littered with old objects he made.

“Anything important?” Hook asks Emma. “I can’t tell yet. I didn’t know he liked drawing,” she responds, to which the pirate says, “He got it from his mother.” (R.I.P., Milah.)

Emma is hoping Neal left a map or clue in the cave — she doesn’t know he’s back in Neverland yet — and everyone rustles through things. Though Hook cracks a few jokes (“no potted bean plant or swirling vortex under the rug”), there’s a more serious tension in the air as Emma notes that Hook must have known Neal pretty well. “We spent some time together,” he responds.

After asking if she’s all right, Emma makes a huge discovery, putting together a few found pieces that will help their journey. What does she find? Check out the clip below to unveil it, then hit the comments with your thoughts!
