Throughout Once Upon a Time’s three seasons, we’ve met plenty of fairy tale characters, but it’s been a while since a new one popped up. Sure, we have Tinker Bell in Neverland (who isn’t quite Peter Pan’s sidekick) and Ariel and her prince coming up, but there are still so many infamous villains and princesses to add.

Thankfully, the OUAT creators are already thinking ahead to the next trio who will join the hit ABC drama. At New York Comic-Con, Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis revealed that we’ll see a twist on Ursula, and they also have plans for Rapunzel and Cruella de Vil down the road. While we already knew about Ursula’s splashy entrance, the others have us on the edge of our seats.

When it comes to female princesses on Once, we usually don’t see a damsel in distress. If they stick to Rapunzel’s tale, she’ll be locked up somewhere, whether physically unable to get down or emotionally trapped. While we doubt that they’ll recruit Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, who voiced Rapunzel and her savior Flynn in Disney film Tangled, it would be the perfect way to incorporate a musical episode — have you heard them sing?

As for Cruella de Ville? We’ve already speculated that Pongo, Archie’s dog, could have been a human in Fairytale Land and have hoped that his other 100 dalmatian pals will come along soon. Cruella could give Regina a run for her money when it comes to evil-doings — either in Storybrooke or Enchanted Forest flashbacks — and if Glenn Close wants to reprise her role, we wouldn’t complain.

What do you think about the potential OUAT characters? Sound off below, and catch the next episode on Sunday, October 27 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
