We love all of Once Upon a Time’s many, many mysteries, but sometimes it seems like each episode introduces more questions than answers. To that end, we’ve tackled the 10 biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to make sense of everything that happened.

Here are 10 burning questions from Season 3, Episode 6: “Ariel.”

1. How will Neal get everyone off of Neverland?

For a guy who was recently drugged and locked in a box, Neal is feeling awfully self-confident. He claims he can easily get the gang off of Neverland, but how does he plan to do this? We’re wondering if he might have some pixie dust stashed somewhere from his last visit.

2. When will Emma start to trust Neal?

The Echo Cave was a great plot device, as it made our heroes reveal all those secrets. (Neal’s like, “Thank goodness I didn’t have to reveal my biggest secret: That my favorite movie is Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.”) But it was painful to see Emma tell Neal that she wished he were dead. Ouch. So will Neal have to make some big gesture to convince her to trust him again? And does Hook still have a shot at Emma’s love?

3. What kind of history does Pan have with Gold’s dad and is he in that crate?

Pan keeps bringing up Gold’s dad, as if he’s purposely taunting Gold because he knows a secret about him. That’s why we’re convinced that Gold’s dad who is set to appear in an upcoming episode is the poor individual in the crate. We’re also thinking that Pan and Gold’s dad may have been friends back in the day, and that Gold’s dad isn’t quite as evil as Gold thinks.

4. Seriously, who’s in that freakin’ crate?

Sadly, this week’s episode didn’t get us much any closer to learning who might be in the other crate. And if it’s not Gold’s dad (although it definitely is, but whatever), there are still plenty of other options. Maybe it’s somebody who is involved in the Neverland storyline, like Tink or perhaps Tiger Lily. Or maybe it’s the real Belle, although that’s unlikely, since we see Belle in the promo for next week. The suspense!

5. Will Ariel find the item in Gold’s shop?

It was a lot of fun meeting Ariel this week, and we’re loving her friendship with Snow. However, Ariel has a pretty important task on her plate, as she’s responsible for getting an item from Gold’s shop that can stop Pan. (Don’t you love how there’s always an item in the shop that can do whatever needs to be done?) So what is this item, and will Ariel be able to bring it back?

6. Will Ariel find Eric?

It was heartbreaking to realize that Ariel couldn’t call out to Eric just before he left town in Fairytale Land. However, it sounds like they may finally get a second chance, as Eric is apparently in Storybrooke. So what has he been doing there all this time and will he and Ariel finally get together?

7. Will we be seeing the real Ursula confront Regina again?

A potential battle between Regina and the real Ursula would be pretty darn awesome, since Ursula seemed quite ferocious when she popped out of the mirror to grab Regina by a tentacle. So was this just a one-off appearance by Ursula, or will we see these two clash down the road? We’re hoping for the latter!

8. How does David get off Neverland?

We know there must be a way for David to escape from this messed-up island, but we don’t know what it is. Maybe Emma or Henry’s magic will help him? That said, David just might have bigger problems at the moment, with Snow none too happy about him keeping his wound a secret from her. So how long will those two be on the outs for?

9. Is Emma about to become a big sister?

It might be a tad premature to start passing out cigars just yet. Still, we’re intrigued by the idea of David and Snow having a bundle of joy at some point provided David ever gets off Neverland. So will they indeed have this new baby, and what kind of magic will it be capable of?

10. When will we get an actual Rumbelle reunion and will he stop going dark?

It was pretty much devastating to see Gold desperately hoping Belle was on Neverland with him, only to find out that it was that mischievous shadow. (Good save, Regina!) However, seeing how much Gold misses Belle makes us even more excited for an eventual Rumbelle reunion. But how soon will this happen and will Belle approve of the darker side that Gold’s been displaying lately?
