Would you mind trading places? In this week’s body swap-tastic Once Upon a Time (Season 3, Episode 9: "Save Henry"), Hook’s ship is finally headed to Storybrooke, Regina should not consider a second career as a nanny, and Peter Pan keeps getting younger.

That Tree Is Kind of a Jerk

As the episode begins, Henry isn’t doing so hot after getting his heart removed by Pan, which is why there’s never been a book published called, Heart Transplants for Dummies. Then, Regina reminds Emma that Henry’s love is all Regina has. Way to play the guilt card, Regina.

Emma offers to find parents for the Lost Boys, so in return, they inform her that Pan is in his Thinking Tree. Then again, who among us doesn’t have their own Thinking Tree, right? (We know what you’re saying to yourself: “I have a ‘Ruminating Tree’ and a ‘Postulating Tree,’ but not really a ‘Thinking Tree.’”) Meanwhile, Neal cares for Henry, and Hook heads with the guys to his ship.

Emma, Regina, and Snow are captured by that aforementioned tree, as the tree can sense regret. We haven’t seen a tree this mean since the apple-throwing ones in Wizard of Oz. But Regina claims she doesn’t have any regrets about how things worked out with Henry, and so she busts free. She snatches Henry’s heart out of Pan’s chest and grabs Pandora’s Box, which contains Gold.

Jack-in-a-Box? More like, Henry in a Box

Our heroes restore Henry with his heart, and they also bring Gold back out of the box. Let’s just say that we’re glad Gold fared better in that box than the ladybugs that we tried to keep alive in a shoebox when we were in third grade. (We still miss you, ladybugs.) When Henry is alone below deck, Peter slips into the room and tries to take Henry’s heart. Pan is one tenacious bastard, no?

Regina placed a protection spell on Henry’s heart, but Pan is still trying to swipe Henry’s shadow. Luckily, Gold steps in and captures Pan in Pandora’s Box. Phew — problem over, right? Right. Then, everyone rejoices on the deck, where Regina traps the shadow in the ship’s sail, and the ship flies back to Storybrooke.

And yet, the problem isn’t over. We see a gleam in Henry’s eye, and as he talks to his Lost Boy henchman Felix, we realize that Pan is now living inside Henry’s body, while Henry is the one trapped in the box. Body swap time! In fact, it’s a lot like the Lindsay Lohan movie Freaky Friday, except we don’t think Pan is going to use Henry’s body to join a rock band, as Jamie Lee Curtis did with LiLo’s body.

Hush Little Baby

In this week’s flashback, we see Regina realizing that she’s lonely without a child, so Gold manages to procure one: Little Henry. For some reason, infant Henry isn’t fond of being held by Regina, and when Regina learns that Henry’s mom was found outside of Storybrooke, she decides to give Henry back to the hospital. You can totally re-gift babies, right?

But at the last minute, Regina decides that she needs Henry in her life. Interestingly, we see that Henry was about to instead be given to Michael and John Darling, who were working for Pan. Crazy! And because Regina is feeling guilty for knowing about Henry’s biological mother, she drinks a potion to forget about it. Does she really need a potion to forget things? Isn’t that what most people use tequila for?

Three Biggest Mysteries of the Night

1. How will Henry get out of Pandora’s Box? We can’t imagine that a one inch-by-one inch box is a great place to spend your time.

2. Will Gold’s elixir work to keep David alive? We really hope David fares better than Hook's brother does.

3. Will Gold kill Pan once and for all? Frankly, we can't wait for Gold to off Pan once and for all. This is one duo that we can't see patching things up and going on a father-son fishing trip anytime soon.
