Season 3 of Once Upon a Time is shaping up to be quite the wild ride, with the first half of the season taking place almost exclusively in Neverland, keeping one of our most cherished relationships separated: Rumbelle. What does the rest of the season hold for Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin)?

“In the second half of the season, they are going to be in the same world for an extended period of time,” co-creator Adam Horowitz tells TVLine. Phew, we were worried that these two would get separated once again — especially with Peter Pan attempting to release the curse that started it all on the little Maine town. Haven’t they been through enough already?

But don’t get your hopes up just yet, because co-creator Eddy Kitsis has another vague spoiler that could cast doubt on Rumbelle’s happiness, saying, “If you’re a fan of Rumbelle, the second half of the season will further explore their relationship — in whatever state that is.” To be honest, the first half of his sentence is just fine, but it’s that last phrase that has us worried that the Powers That Be have something dastardly hidden up their sleeve.

After going through ups and downs, will Rumbelle finally live happily ever after?

What are your hopes for Rumbelle in the second half of this season? Good things ahead or terrible twists? Hit the comments and let us know!

Once Upon a Time airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
