Just when Storybrooke thought it was free of the curse, it rears its ugly head again. Peter Pan's big plot for the Once Upon a Time Season 3 midseason finale (Season 3, Episode 11 — “Going Home”) is simple: Re-cast the curse, putting Storybrooke under his command. Easily said, but somehow we think the doing will be more complicated.

How will the plot play out in the last episode of the fall section of the season? We've gathered all of the biggest spoilers and sneak peeks about the episode to see what they reveal.

The Official Synopsis

We'll start with the official synopsis, though it doesn't give us much new info:

The race is on to stop Pan from enacting another curse on the residents of Storybrooke, which could kill every living soul in town.

The most interesting info here is that the curse could kill everyone in town. At the end of last week's episode Pan said that it would "just" makes them lose their memories again, but as we learn in the sneak peek below, he changes his tune after Rumple makes a bad move.

Man, Peter Pan is really terrifying.

No Seriously, This Threat Is Real

As we can see in that sneak peek, Pan won't be easy to defeat. Indeed, showrunners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz make it clear to TVLine that Pan's evil outweighs any home field advantage our heroes might have now that they're back in Storybrooke. "It’s going to test all of our heroes to see if and how they can stop him, and at what cost."

These intriguing set photos give us an interesting taste of what we might expect in the final showdown with Pan. It looks like Rumple and his dad get up close and personal, Regina might be in mortal danger (is that related to this script tease?), and most of the main characters are going to be around when it all goes down.

We Will Have Wrap-up

After this episode, the show is off the air until March, but at least we can look forward to getting some closure before the long break. Eddy and Adam explained to TVLine, "The midseason finale is meant to tie up all of the arcs and loose ends from the first half of this season, while also endeavoring to carry over the story into what we are hoping is a compelling new mode of storytelling in the second half."

We can also look forward to "some intriguing surprises in the season finale," which will help launch us into the spring half of the season. Sounds tantalizing — and hopefully not too frustrating.
