Yesterday we learned that there's a "mindblowing" "family connection" between "two major characters" that will be revealed in the second half of Once Upon a Time’s third season. According to E!, no one will see this connection coming, but that's not going to keep us from guessing.

So, here are our top picks for potential family connections. Read through our ideas, and then sound off with your guesses in the comments below!

1. Zelena, the Wicked Witch of the West. OK, so a villain having a family connection to one of the main cast members isn't exactly unpredictable, but maybe what's surprising is the way Zelena is related? A lot of people think Zelena could be Cora's child, since we know Rose McGowan (young Cora) is back for an episode; that would potentially make her Regina's half-sister. Though really, is that a mind-blowing connection? Many fans predicted something along those lines as soon as they realized this season was going to have a big Wicked Witch vs. Regina plot.

Well, maybe there's another layer to it. Some fans are speculating that Zelena's father is King Leopold, since a young version of Snow's father is also slated to show up this season. Though in that case, Zelena would be both Snow and Regina's half-sister, which seems way too weird and incestious, espeically since Regina later went on to marry Leopold.

2. Glinda, the good witch. On the other hand, maybe the surprise relative is Glinda, the good witch, who looks an awful lot like Emma. Maybe she decides to help the residents of Storybrooke because she's actually someone's long lost relative? She looks like she could belong to the Charming family line... Maybe he had a secret sister?

3. Hook or Belle. OK, we really have no idea what making either of these characters related to a different core cast member would achieve, but they are just about the only main characters who aren't on the extended Charming/Mills family tree.
