The thing about Once Upon a Time is that you have to always be ready to bid a fond farewell to one of your favorite characters, and Neal’s (Michael Raymond-James) death last week definitely hit hard. We knew there would be a huge death before the curtain fell on Season 3, so are we in the clear now?

Brace yourselves, OUAT fans. Co-executive producer Eddy Kitsis recently spoke to TV Guide about this exact thing and assured us that there would “of course” be more deaths before we see this season come to a close.

The only thing allowing us to breathe easy is the hope that perhaps it’ll be the Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader) that bites the dust. She’s the newest addition to the cast and is currently the big bad that the Storybrooke residents are dealing with.

We still have a lot to learn about the green gal, but we’ll definitely unearth some background details in Season 3, Episode 16 (“It Ain’t Easy Being Green”) this week. Zelena is going to be going up against her half-sister Regina (Lana Parrilla), and it’s going to be the greatest thing ever.

Another reason why we think the Wicked Witch will be saying farewell at the end of this season? In the same interview, Eddy also revealed that Season 4 will “of course” have a new villain.

Apparently there’s only room for one devilish witch on Once.

Who else do you think will die in Season 3? Will the Wicked Witch survive? Hit the comments and let us know!

Once Upon a Time airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
