It’s time to open up the gates, let it go, and meet our Queen Elsa! According to TVLine, the Once Upon a Time Powers That Be have finally cast the icey Arendelle monarch, turning to Aussie Fringe alumna Georgina Haig to fill the highly-anticipated Season 4 role.

This news comes on the heels of Greek’s Scott Michael and newcomer Elizabeth Lail being cast as mountain man Kristoff and Elsa’s little sister, Anna. With Georgina’s casting, the three Frozen characters have been cast and production on the new Disney storyline will start to heat up in preparation for the fall.

For the OUAT world, Elsa is described as a “late-20s/early-30s beauty,” meaning they are most likely moving forward a few years from when Frozen took place, since in the flick Elsa had just reached the age to be coronated. We personally can’t wait to see how 28-year-old Georgina decides to play the role — especially since Elsa isn’t a clear villain (in the animated film or on the ABC drama).

Georgina — whose credits also include Reckless and Underbelly — wasn’t included in our dream casting for Elsa, but that doesn’t mean we’re mad at the choice. Given the fact that many were hoping for an unknown while others  wanted a mega-famous actress, we think this is a choice that makes everyone happy.
