Warning: This article contains spoilers for the OUAT Season 2 premiere. Turn back now if you don't want to be spoiled!
We barely had time to get to know Prince Phillip (Julian Morris) and his adorable, noble, scruffy self before a wraith sucked his soul away on the Once Upon a Time Season 2 premiere (Season 2, Episode 1: “Broken”). Sigh. And we were already starting to crush on him, too.
But is Prince Philip really gone for good? We're thinking not. After all, the wraith is described as "a soul-sucker" that "removes souls," and Mulan (Jamie Chung) even points out that we can hear the sound of the souls it has "trapped." Plus, Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) refers to the wraith as a "fate worse than death," which means it's not actually death.
All that makes us think that there's a good chance Philip can eventually be saved, since it seems like his soul isn't gone for good. And if he can be saved, were thinking he will be saved, probably after Sleeping Beauty (Sarah Bolger) and Mulan have become friends, just to make the budding love triangle we saw in the premiere awkwarder.
What do you think: Will Philip come back?
