We may live in a world without magic, but with the introduction of Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) on Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 4: “The Crocodile” (airing October 21), it’s going to feel a lot more magical. What can we expect from the dashing pirate with a hook for a hand?

Here’s a roundup of all the Hook-related spoilers.

Hook’s hook. Captain Hook wasn’t always a one-handed sexy beast. In the upcoming episode, we’ll learn more about his backstory, including how he lost his hand and turned a handicap into a weapon.

Rumplestiltskin and Hook have history. In these spoiler photos, Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) is talking to Captain Hook at a time when he still had both hands. This suggests that they go way back.

Rumple’s wife Milah might be a double agent. The ABC episode synopsis states that Rumple will try to save Milah from a thieving gang of pirates. But in this photo, Milah is living it up with Hook, looking happy as can be. Was she part of a larger conspiracy to fool Rumple?

What’s the deal with Smee? In this photo of Belle (Emilie de Ravin) getting kidnapped by a character named William (Chris Gauthier), the bad guy resembles Disney’s version of Smee, Captain Hook’s fabled second-in-command. If William/Smee is in Storybrooke, does that mean Hook is, too?

Hook is a total metrosexual. Just check out this pic! He’s into guyliner, and he loves a good man ring.

Killian Jones. As we’ve pointed out before, Colin O’Donoghue is listed in the episode’s press release as playing Captain Hook/Killian Jones. Could Killian be Hook’s Storybrooke counterpart? Or is it just Hook’s real name in Fairytale Land? We hope it’s the former!
