Good news, Ruby fans! Though Meghan Ory, who play the werewolf, has been cast in a new CBS pilot, Once Upon a Time co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis are insistent that Ruby will still be a character on the show even if her pilot gets picked up.

“Ruby is not going anywhere,” said Eddy in an interview with TV Guide. “That pilot shoots in Vancouver ... It's a lot easier when they are in the same town.”

“We've overcome big scheduling hurdles in the past,” added Adam. “We hope to be able to continue that.”

The show is dealing with a similar issue in regards to Sonequa Martin-Green, the actress who plays Tamara. Sonequa has been upgraded to a series regular in AMC’s The Walking Dead. The OUAT cast is just too darn talented!

Having such a large ensemble cast and so many interweaving storylines certainly does help, though. We’re glad to hear that Meghan will be sticking around, and we hope to see more of her character in Season 3 than we have in Season 2!

Are you relieved to hear the confirmation that Ruby is staying? Let us know in the comments below!
