Once Upon a Time Season 2 has four episodes left in the season. While we wait for the final push, it's time to take stock and think about what we want to see as the season rushes to a close.
We've already talked about some of the relationships we hope to see explored further, and now it's time to discuss some of the mysteries we're hoping to see solved. Halfway through the season we laid out five questions we wanted answered. Some of them have been addressed (thank you, show), but new ones have popped up.
So, without further ado, here are five mysteries we're still hoping to see solved — at least in part — before the season ends.
What's Tamara's motivation? Is she a fairy tale character? An agent of some secret, magic-hunting organization? Did she have a run-in with magic as a kid, like Greg/Owen? This definitely needs to be addressed, and soon.
What's Neal's backstory? Based on the titles of the last two episodes, it looks like we're going to be headed to Neverland at the end of the season. Hopefully that means we'll get some major insight into what happened to Neal between falling through the portal and meeting Emma in our world. We're especially curious about how he knows Hook!
How did Regina adopt Henry? The answer to this one might not come until a later season, but it's driving us crazy. How in the world did Regina manage to actually adopt Henry?
Who brought Henry's Fairy Tale book to Storybrooke? Henry's book came up again on Season 2, Episode 18: “Selfless, Brave, and True," so we're hoping that means its origin will be addressed at some point soon. Who wrote it? Who brought it into town? Was it August? Someone else? Inquiring minds want to know!
What happened to Aurora, Mulan, and Philip? We had mixed feeling about the introduction of Aurora and Mulan at the beginning of the season, but we warmed up to them, only to have them swiftly taken away again. We need resolution!
What questions do you have for the rest of the season? Sound off in the comments below.
