Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David Nolan/Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) have had their struggles on Once Upon a Time, but they're never going to really break up again, right? We mean, they're Snow White and Prince Charming. Happy endings are kinda their thing.
Unfortunately, a recent blind item from TVLine hints that this couple might not be as safe as we think.

TVLine reports that "a pivotal couple on a show with a very passionate audience may be going their separate ways by season’s end." According to their sources, the producers want to close the season "with a bang, and they believe splitting up this beloved couple will provide just such a jolt."
They go on to narrow the potentially splitsville couples down to just nine contenders, including none other than Snow and Charming. Yeah, our hearts skipped a beat, too.
However, we're going to go out on a limb and say we really don't think this spoiler will turn out to be about the Charmings. While Snow and Charming's break certainly fits the hint that "no one" will see the breakup coming, TVLine also says that the producers think the breakup "would give the series a lot of creative juice as it heads into what could be its final season."
That doesn't sound like OUAT to us. It's still in its second season and going strong, so there's absolutely no reason to think next season might be its last. Plus, with all of the mysteries and magic, we're pretty positive the OUAT Powers That Be can come up with one or two (or a hundred) better ways to end the season with a bang.
What do you think: Is there any way this blind item is actually about the Charmings, or are you pretty sure they're safe?
