The race for the dagger. According to the official synopsis, the Storybrooke portion of the episode focuses on Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) discovering Cora's (Barbara Hershey) plan to find the Dark One dagger, leading to a race for the good guys to find it first. Based on this sneak peek photo, it looks like our heros might succeed in their goal, but the bad guys always have a trick or two up their sleeves.

Gold injured. In New York, Rumple (Robert Carlyle) "continues his quest ... to reunite with son Bae [Michael Raymond-James]" and "Hook [Colin O’Donoghue] devises a plan to rid himself of a crocodile." And he doesn't just devise a plan ... he manages to stab Rumple in the heart.

What's Nealfire's deal? The Canadian promo for the episode suggests there's a lot more to learn about Nealfire, who has apparently been to worlds other than ours and Fairytale Land. Is he a known fairy tale character?

Speaking of Neal... It turns out he's engaged, and spoilers suggest the lucky (or not so lucky, given his complicated situation) lady is new character Tamara, who we should meet this week.

Flashback to a sad time. The flashback will take us to when Snow was a child. Her mother (played by Rena Sofer) falls ill, and "the Blue Fairy  [Keegan Connor Tracy] offers Snow White an unconventional enchantment that could help save her." This plotline will also feature Downton Abbey's Lesley Nicol has a servant, and friend, of Snow's family.

Two deaths. Spoilers suggest that this episode will include two relatively minor deaths, one in each realm. We assume the death in Fairytale Land is Snow's mother (since the episode is titled "The Queen Is Dead"), but we're not sure about the one in our world. Perhaps it will be Lesley Nicol's character, since as far as we know she is only a one episode guest star.

Script spoilers. The official OUAT Twitter dished some script sneak peeks, including a cute convo between Henry and Rumple,  "common ground" for Emma and Rumple, a question of perspective from Regina, and a heartfelt flashback chat.
