We love all of Once Upon a Time’s many, many mysteries, but sometimes it seems like each episode introduces more questions than answers. To that end, we’ve tackled the 10 biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to make sense of everything that happened.

Here are 10 questions from Season 2, Episode 18: “Selfless, Brave, and True.”

1. Did Regina send Greg’s dad to another world?

Regina is somewhat cryptic to Greg/Owen about his dad Kurt’s whereabouts, other than to say he’s not here. So maybe she sent him to another world — kind of like how Cora was sent to Wonderland. Looks like Kurt may have picked up a few stamps in his passport.

2. Is Tamara related to someone from Fairytale Land?

Tamara mentions her grandmother, along with showing a photo of her to the Dragon. So we have a feeling Tamara’s family lineage will play a key role in her reason for wanting magic so badly. Perhaps Tamara is related to the Fairy Godmother whom Gold killed last season — especially because Gold can be seen holding a wand in the promo for the next episode.

3. What will Greg and Tamara do to Storybrooke?

Greg and Tamara — aka “Her” — appear to be on slightly different pages in terms of their devious intentions in Storybrooke. Greg is on the hunt to find his dad, whereas Tamara appears to just want magic. So do they both have the same plan in mind? Either way, two devious Storybrooke haters are more powerful than one.

4. Why does Tamara want magic so badly?

Sure, we’d all like to use magic now and then, mainly because we want to swipe people’s watches and then return them like it’s no big deal. We don’t think Tamara has timepieces on the brain in her quest for magic - but why is she so eager to get it? What will she specifically use it for? She was willing to track down the Dragon to get it, so clearly it’s a high priority for her.

5. Will August ever return to his adult self?

We definitely love seeing August as a grown-up, primarily because he and Emma seemed like they’d be adorable together. So while we’re glad he gets a second chance as a boy, we must admit it’s a little strange to see him having to go through childhood all over again. But at least Henry gets a new pal, right?

6. Why does August want Emma and Neal to get back together?

The hardest part about seeing Greg and Tamara together is that we desperately want Emma and Neal to rekindle things. So we wonder how soon Neal will realize he’s being two-timed. We also wonder why exactly August was so hopeful that Emma and Neal will get back together. Maybe he just feels badly about splitting them up, or maybe he knows something we don’t.

7. Just how evil will Snow get?

Snow may not have wanted to give Marco a smack in the kisser for lying about the wardrobe, but we don’t exactly begrudge her for getting her slap on. However, we are a bit concerned about just how much worse her behavior will get, now that her heart has been blackened. People of Storybrooke: Prepare to get slapped... and then some.

8. How soon will Snow and David go back to Fairytale Land?

David mentions that the magic beans are close to getting harvested, which is certainly exciting news. We’re now wondering if Snow and David will be heading to Fairytale Land soon, either to help fix Snow’s heart or to flee from Tamara’s wrath. Then again, Snow and David should be aware that vacations on this show are never exactly the relaxing type.

9. What kind of souped-up taser did Tamara have?

Tamara appeared to have one heck of a taser — especially since she took down August with it, when we would have assumed that a taser wouldn’t affect wood at all. (We’ll try to let that slide.) So where did she get it? And by the way, how exactly did Tamara analyze the potion that the Dragon gave August? We’re supposed to believe that Tamara is a chemist in her spare time?

10. Where the heck was Gold? And Hook? And Belle? And...

We’re getting used to Hook and Belle’s absences at this point, even though we miss them. But an episode without Gold is basically unforgivable. Still, with Tamara as a creepy new villain, we suppose Gold can take a week off now and then. But what we really want to see is a Gold-Hook showdown — not to mention a Rumbelle reconciliation. Throw us a bone, OUAT!
