On Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 16: "The Miller's Daughter," Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) tricked Regina (Lana Parrilla) into killing Cora (Barbara Hershey), and as we saw in Episode 17: "Welcome to Storybrooke," now her heart is literally turning darker. In this new sneak peek for Season 2, Episode 18: “Selfless, Brave, and True” (March 24) we see what that means.
In this clip, Snow, Emma (Jennifer Morrison), and Marco/Geppetto (Tony Amendola) trek through the woods. As they walk, Marco makes a confession many fans have been waiting to hear.
"This is all my fault," he says, before finally telling Snow and Emma that there was enough magic for two people in the wardrobe that took Emma to our world. He made the Blue Fairy (Keegan Connor Tracy) lie so that he could send his son, Pinocchio (Eion Bailey) through instead of Snow.
"There is no apology that I could give that could ever make up for what I did," he laments after Snow, in shock, realizes she could have come with Emma to this world. "But I am so sorry."
Snow's response? She slaps him. Hard.
While that isn't exactly a nice or honorable thing to do, it seems like a fairly understandable reaction to an extremely upsetting revelation. Marco even agrees that he deserved it.
But Snow doesn't see it that way. "No, that wasn't me," she protests. "Marco, I am so sorry. I'm not myself."
What do you think: Is this a sign that Snow is really going dark, like Regina predicted she would?
