We love all of Once Upon a Time’s many, many mysteries, but sometimes it seems like each episode introduces more questions than answers. To that end, we’ve tackled the 10 biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to make sense of everything that happened.
Here are 10 questions from Season 2, Episode 19: “Lacey.”
1. What do Greg and Tamara want with Hook?
We now know why Hook isn’t where Neal thought he would be a few episodes ago, since Tamara found him. It’s hard to imagine why Greg and Tamara are so excited to have Hook, but it’s clear they have big plans for him. Regardless of what they want him for, trouble is afoot.
2. When will Belle get her memories back — or are we stuck with Lacey?
We’re kind of enjoying Lacey’s presence, since she brings out the bad boy in Gold. And we like to see this side of him from time to time - as long as he’s not removing our tongues, of course. But since we do prefer the old Belle, we’re wondering if she gets her memories back soon, or if we’ll have to get used to tipsy Lacey.
3. What will Regina do with the bean crops?
Nothing much stays hidden from Regina, so we’re a little shocked that the Charmings ever thought the magic bean crops would be an exception. And now that Regina knows about them, we’re worried about just what she’s planning. Regina certainly has a way of using magic plants to her advantage.
4. Why did the show waste Robin Hood?
We were unbelievably excited when we learned that Robin Hood would be on the show - that is, until we saw the episode and realized he was barely in it. Why even introduce Robin Hood if all we’re going to see him do is basically flee from Rumple? Sure, we can imagine we’ll learn more of his backstory in a later episode, but his presence in this one was kind of a letdown.
5. Does Greg know about Tamara’s not-so-innocent ways?
In most successful relationships, no one is keeping secrets from the other person. However, we’re doubting that’s the case in Greg and Tamara’s relationship, since Greg doesn’t appear to know Tamara has a souped-up taser she uses for evil deeds. So how soon will he find out — or does he not care? Translation: Their relationship is more complicated than most people’s.
6. Does Rumple give Robin’s bow to Snow in Season 1?
Rumple gave Snow a bow that always finds its mark in Season 1, Episode 16: “Heart of Darkness.” So is this the same bow that he gets from Robin Hood this week? And will this bow be showing up in Storybrooke? One bow, lots of mysteries.
7. Will Emma finally decide to join David and Snow in Fairytale Land?
It’s tough to think that Emma and her parents may yet again part ways, considering that they’ve been apart enough over the years. But it didn’t take Snow long to quickly get onboard with the idea of going back to Fairytale Land, so maybe Emma will have a change of heart soon, too.
8. What favor will Gold provide for Charming?
It’s not normal for Gold to owe anything to anyone. So the fact that he offers David a favor in exchange for help with Belle shows just how much Gold cares for her. Aww! And now we can’t wait to find out what the favor will be. By the way, was David’s generic “be yourself” advice really worth a favor? We’re not so sure.
9. Will little August actually get his memories back?
Emma seems to be holding out hope that August will get his old memories back, so it will be interesting to see if that happens. But if he doesn’t, we’re still hoping our heroes will quickly get a clue that Tamara is not to be trusted. Let’s just say Neal is way more gullible than we thought he was.
10. Will something bad happen to Henry in the next few episodes?
We keep hoping Gold will change his mind about harming Henry — and then we keep getting hints that he won’t, like when Gold shatters Henry in his dream. (Ouch.) So we’re worried that Gold will give in to his instincts and do something not-so-friendly to Henry by the time the Season 2 finale rolls around. Be careful, Henry!
