Entertainment Weekly has a sneak peek from the Emma-centric episode, featuring a scene from present-day Fairytale Land. Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) explains to Emma, Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin), Mulan (Jamie Chung), and Sleeping Beauty (Sarah Bolger) his complicated plan to help them get back to Storybrooke (with him in tow).

He says that all the magic beans, which open up portals to other lands, were “destroyed by the giants as they died,” because if the giants couldn’t have them, they didn’t want anyone else to. But there is still one giant left (played by Jorge Garcia), the “strongest and most terrible of them all.”

Apparently, if Hook uses one of Cora’s (Barbara Hershey) “counter-spells” on the giant’s repellant beanstalk, then battles the last giant for access to a “magic compass,” then steals Cora’s magic ashes from Snow’s old wardrobe, the compass “will guide us to your land.” Phew!

Watch the clip for yourself here, and tell us if you trust Hook’s story and his wild plan.
