It’s almost finale season (simultaneously the most glorious and depressing time of the year), and we are on the edge of our seats waiting to see how our favorite shows will close out their seasons. Will Once Upon a Time’s Season 2 ender manage to be as epic as the Season 1 finale? Here’s what co-creator Edward Kitsis had to say about it:

“We said at the beginning of this season, ‘Magic is coming and it always has a price’ — and we’re going to see that at the end of this season,” Edward teased to TVLine.

So, it sounds like the Season 2 finale has the potential to be awesome. What price could Edward be talking about? We know that Henry will probably be kidnapped by Tamara and Greg in the two-part finale, but that hardly seems a magical price. Still, could the price of magic somehow be tied up in the non-magical world?

Edward could not have been clearer about the fact that Tamara is not a fairy tale character and that her character (and much of this season) has been about the non-magical world’s reaction to Storybrooke and its magical residents:

“[Tamara] is a person from this world. She is from America. She is not going to be revealed to be someone else,” Edward said. “For us what was interesting was, with the curse gone, what happens when the outside world comes? Who has been looking for this place?”

Do you think “the price of magic” is tied into the outside world’s reaction to Storybrooke, or do you think these are two different problems the town has to worry about? Let us know in the comments below!
