We’re so close to seeing magic in Storybrooke! To keep us slightly satisfied until the highly anticipated Once Upon a Time Season 2 premiere, we now have a short synopsis of the episode (airing September 30), as well as the title.

“In the aftermath of Gold’s actions at the wishing well,” TV.com reports, “the people of Storybrooke must come to grips with the knowledge of what they once were... and are again.”

The short-form synopsis is, admittedly, unsurprising, but we are all kinds of excited about watching each character get that “Aha!” look on their face as they recollect a lifetime’s worth of memories, emotions, and their attempts to reconcile the powerful figures they used to be with the more innocuous, simple people they’ve become.

The title of the premiere is “Broken,” which seems to reference The Evil Queen’s (Lana Parrilla) curse. But could the title have a double-meaning? As in, will anyone’s spirit be broken as a result of their memories? Or, more likely, by Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Regina’s new magical abilities?

Don’t miss the premiere!

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
