Most Once Upon a Time fans have heard that Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) is one of the most highly anticipated new characters in Season 2. But is he really so important that some of our favorite main characters will get booted from his episode entirely?

As we know, Captain Hook makes his debut in Season 2, Episode 4: “The Crocodile.” And we’ll finally get to see Emma’s (Jennifer Morrison) backstory in Season 2, Episode 6: “Tallahassee”. But in a new interview with The Insider, Jennifer reveals that Emma will be sorely missed before then.

When asked about her favorite episodes aside from the Emma-centric hour, Jennifer said, “I also think Episode [4], which I’m not in at all, is a great one, because you'll meet Captain Hook. It's a great character and the fans should freak out it's just that good!”

As much as we’ll miss seeing Emma that week, we think we’ll trust her judgment and just enjoy the Captain Hook ride. After all, it’ll only be a week until we get an all-Emma episode!

Remember to check out our list of 10 hints about the Season 2 premiere (Season 2, Episode 1: “Broken”). Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
