Who doesn’t love a little Charming family drama? For those of you worried that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) has already moved past the discovery that Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) are her parents, no need! According to Once Upon A Time co-creator Adam Horowitz, who recently dished a few spoilers on Twitter, the relationship between Emma and her parents will remain a focus of the series moving forward.

Regardless of their good intentions, it seems Emma is not ready to completely forgive her parents for letting her grow up alone.“Is Emma completely over dealing with the fact her parents sent her away?” a fan tweeted at Adam yesterday. Adam’s response?: “No.”

We’re glad that the issue hasn’t been dropped, and the value of the decision to save Emma from the curse by sending her to our world has been questioned -- both by Emma, and her parents. In a show where the line between good decisions and bad decisions is so easily blurred, we rarely get to see Snow and Charming doubt themselves. (Though, it looks like Snow is headed into a downward spiral of self-doubt and regret, and we think much of this has been instigated by Emma’s declaration that she wishes she hadn’t grown up alone.)

It won’t be all guilt and regret, though. Adam also tweeted that both Charmings will get some bonding time with their daughter. They have about 28 years to make up for and who knows when the next misfortune will tear them apart, so we’d start with the unicorn-riding and the sword blade-sharpening (or whichever activities it is that fairy tale families indulge in whilst bond) as soon as possible.
