Whether you love her or love to hate her, there's no question that Regina/The Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) is one of the most important characters on Once Upon a Time.

So what can you expect from this beautiful baddie in Season 2? In preparation for the premiere (Season 2, Episode 1: “Broken,” airing September 30) we've gathered all of the juiciest Regina spoilers right here.

Not so popular. Spoiler alert guys: The people of Storybrooke are NOT happy with Regina now that they have their memories back. Shocking, we know. As we see in this sneak peek, a mob will quickly track Regina down at home during the premiere, and she soon ends up behind bars. Lana Parrilla also told us that Regina will have "zero" friends left in Storybrooke. Not even Henry Mills (Jared Gilmore)?

The trouble with magic. While Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) has brought magic to Storybrooke, it works differently in our world, and as we see in this sneak peek, Regina doesn't get the hang of it right away. Lana told us that Regina "gains a different kind of power, not the one that you so think. She’s almost enlightened in a different way."

Redemption in the air? Lana has also said Regina is "on the path to redemption" in Season 2. We know this season is supposed to have redemption as a theme; we can't wait to see how Regina's story ties into that.

Backstory galore! You want Regina backstory? Good, 'cause you're going to get it. The flashback portion of Season 2, Episode 2: “We Are Both” will focus on how Regina learned magic, and will also include how she first met Rumplestiltskin. We also know that Regina's dead true love Daniel (Noah Bean) will make an appearance at some point in the season, and we'll also see more of her evil mother, Cora (Barbara Hershey). We also know she has some sort of history with Dr. Whale (David Anders), which will be revealed in Season 2, Episode 5: “The Doctor.”

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
