Many fans of the Charming family have mixed feelings about Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) being stuck in Fairytale Land during Once Upon a Time Season 2. On one hand, mother-daughter bonding, awesome! On the other hand, the lack of present-day Snow/Charming (Josh Dallas) scenes is sad.

Will these lovers get back in touch sometime soon? A new spoiler from TV Guide sheds some light on the situation.

Ginnifer Goodwin told TV Guide that Snow and Charming do find a "direct line of communication" between worlds, but, in a totally unshocking twist, there's a catch — the way of communicating requires "great risk."

"The risk that's taken is potentially a great sacrifice that is made in order to get Emma and Snow White home," Ginnifer explains. "There's something really beautiful about the selflessness that is necessary to communicate."

"Great sacrifice"? We don't like the sound of that. Haven't our heroes sacrificed enough? And we're not really sure what to make of Ginnifer's cryptic hint. Does it mean that someone risks their life to get an object that helps communicate between worlds? Does it mean the manner of communication is itself a risk? We're leaning towards the latter based on her phrasing.
