Since the co-creators of OUAT, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, are both Lost alumni, it makes sense that we would venture further into origin stories, and the mythology of the mysterious town of Storybrooke. How come no one can leave? How do new people get in?

According to The Huffington Post, we’ll start by exploring a slightly smaller-scale question in Season 2: “the origin of the Once Upon a Time book that Mary Margaret/Snow White gave Henry.”

Where did the book of fairy tales that Mary Margaret gave Henry originally come from? Who wrote it, and why? Many (if not all) of these questions will finally get some answers in Season 2!

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
