We have to admit: we were pretty stumped when the title for Once Upon A Time’s Season 2, Episode 19:  “Lacey” was revealed. Is it a person? Is it a garment? We weren’t sure. OUAT’s co-creator Edward Kitsis and actress Emilie de Ravin divulged who Lacey is at yesterday’s PaleyFest panel, and it was definitely worth the wait.

According to Examiner, it turns out that Lacey is none other than Belle’s Storybrooke counterpart! As we know from the other Enchanted Forest characters, Regina’s spell gave everyone under it an alternate identity. When Belle fell across the town line, she lost her memories of who she was in the Enchanted Forest. Bad news for Rumplestiltskin. Good news for us. Because now we get a chance to know Belle’s alter ego, a character Emilie de Ravin refers to as “Racy Lacey.”

“Lacey’s very interesting,” Emilie teased the panel audience, according to TVLine.

Kitsis added: “She’s the opposite of Belle. Things are going to get a lot more interesting for Mr. Gold.”

Poor Gold. First, his girlfriend is shot and forgets who he is. Then, he finds his long-lost son (after years of searching and manipulating) only to discover Bea wants nothing to do with him. Not to mention he was poisoned and stabbed by Hook. We’re not sure how he’s going to take this “Racy Lacey” news. Is there any hope for Belle regaining her memories?

"That is a big spoiler,” said Kitsis. “Have hope and faith and we'll see what happens."

We’ll try our best! In the meantime, we look forward to getting to know “Racy Lacey” a little better. What about you? Let us know in the comments below!
