For those of you missing the kickass Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) of Season 1 (and early Season 2), she’s coming back! Once Upon A Time co-creator Adam Horowitz tweeted yesterday that Emma “gets to do some big things soon.” Hell yeah!

We’re really digging all of the Emma/Neal/Henry family drama (and wouldn’t say no to a bit more of it), but we really do miss the Emma of Season 1 who got to run around town kicking ass and taking names. Sure, we have got to see a bit of that in Season 2 when she was climbing beanstalks and outwitting giants (and Hook), but we will always want more. Plus, we want Neal to see how fierce and independent Emma still is! (And then for them to make out.)

What will Emma’s “big things” be? Well, we’re mighty suspicious of co-conspirators Tamara and Greg who may or may not be planning to steal all of the magic from Storybrooke. Right now, Sheriff Emma (or is Charming still Sheriff? It’s kind of hard to tell) doesn’t have so much of a whiff of their plotting. But that has to change, right? Maybe Emma and Charming will go all Charming Family Sheriff on their asses. We do know that they have some father/daughter scene-age coming up soon!

Or perhaps her “big things” will come in the form of confrontations with resident villains Regina and/or Rumple. It’s no secret that Regina wants Henry back. Will this storyline come to a head soon? As for Rumple, we’re still not sure if he is considering killing Henry or not (we don’t think he’s sure, either). Will he make the decision to take out the boy/grandson that will be his “undoing”?

What do you think is in store for Emma’s future? How will her kickassery manifest itself this time? Let us know in the comments below!
