Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) had the chance for some quality mother-daughter bonding when they were fighting off ogres and manhandling Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) in the Enchanted Forest during the first half of Season 2. Now, it looks like Charming (Josh Dallas) will have some time to get to know his daughter a bit better.

Once Upon A Time co-creator Adam Horowitz tweeted on Saturday that, “yes,” we will be seeing some more “dad/daughter scenes between Emma and Charming this season.”

Between Rumple almost dying and Cora actually dying, there wasn’t much time for Emma/Charming interaction in this week’s episode (Season 2, Episode 16: “The Miller’s Daughter”), but there were a few blink-and-you-miss-them moments. Our favorite was when a protective Charming checked to make sure everything was okay with Emma when she was conversing with Neal (Michael Raymond-James), his daughter’s former love and Henry’s father. We can’t wait for the “break her heart and I’ll break you” speech that Charming will inevitably give.

So, what will the upcoming Emma/Charming interaction look like? It could center around trying to console a guilt-ridden Snow, who actively brought about the death of Cora. Or maybe it will be in trying to raise the rambunctious Henry? Emma has yet to fully come to terms with her parents’ abandonment. Perhaps the two will chat about that? This show is rife with possibilities. We just know that - whatever form the father-daughter bonding takes - it will be golden.
