Once Upon a Time Season 2 Spoilers: Mysterious Child Characters Gets A ...
Recently, we reported that a young new character, Owen will be joining Once Upon a Time for Episode 17. Now, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we know that the child comes as a package deal.

Entertainment Weekly reports that John Pyper-Ferguson — who you may know from Brothers & Sisters, Caprica and Alphas — has been cast as Owen's father, Ben.
Ben is described as a "widower who wants nothing more than to help his young son heal from the loss of his mother."
Hmmm ... a widower and his sad son. Who could they be?
It's worth noting that Entertainment Weekly calls John Pyper-Ferguson's part "a large guest star role." A lot of people were speculating that Owen might be Peter Pan, but the showrunners have said we won't see Peter Pan this season, and the addition of a father-figure makes that theory seem even more unlikely.
We're hoping Owen and his father will tie into the main plot somehow. Is it possible they provide backstory for a character we already know? Could Owen be a young Hook [Colin O’Donoghue]? (Or even a young Rumplestiltskin [Robert Carlyle]?)
