With only four episodes left in Once Upon a Time Season 2, there’s only so much screen and story time to divvy up between our favorite characters. So, which character did OUAT co-creator Adam Horowitz promise we would be seeing more of in the remaining episodes?

“Plenty of Neal coming up,” Adam tweeted yesterday.

That’s good news as far as we’re concerned. There are still so many unresolved issues when it comes to Neal/Baelfire (Michael Raymond-James). Will he ever patch things up with his father, Rumplestiltskin? Will he and Emma rekindle the romance that was cut prematurely short all those years ago? Will Neal discover his fiancée has some nefarious agenda?

We think Neal may figure out that last one, at least if this apparent Henry-napping is any indication. We have a feeling that the extended SwanFire family (Charming Parents, Rumple, and auxiliary member, Regina, included) will be forced to work through some issues when they are on a rescue mission.

There is also the intriguing Hook/Neal dynamic to consider. In real life, Colin O’Donoghue and Michael Raymond-James became fast friends. We want to know what their on-screen history is. Does Neal know that Hook loved Neal’s mother (and took her away from her life with him and Rumple)? Do they have a history in Neverland? We’re supposed to discover their backstory in the first part of the two-part finale, but we want more now!

Are you glad to hear Neal will get some screen time in the remaining episodes, or would you prefer if it was given to one of these neglected characters? What storylines do you hope are addressed? Let us know in the comments below!
