With Once Upon a Time Season 2 less than a month away (it premieres on September 30), it's about time to start taking stock of what we know about the upcoming season.

We've already looked at what new characters are coming to town, and what magic means for Storybrooke. Now it's time to focus on one of our fave OUAT pairs: Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David/Prince Charming (Josh Dallas)!

Snow White-centric premiere: According to E!, Season 2, Episode 1: “Broken” will be Snow White-centric. Hurrah!

Complicated memories: The premiere will also focus on the characters coming to "grips with  the knowledge of what they once were... and are again." You'd think that would mean lots of lovey dovey moments for Snow and Charming, but you should keep in mind that the characters also retain the memories of their Storybrooke selves. Will David and Mary Margaret's complicated history cause trouble for Snow and Charming's happy ending? Executive producer Edward Kitsis says this season is about redemption; could part of that be David and Mary Margaret seeking forgiveness for the hurt they've caused each other?

Raccoons, skunks, and bats: In random spoiler news, Ginnifer Goodwin tweeted about filming with raccoons, skunks, and bats. More time in the woods?

Snow White's complicated relationship with...: Edward Kitsis told TVLine that Snow has a complicated and unexpected past with new character Lancelot. "The two of them have a secret that I'm not sure Charming knows" he dished.

A Charming family reunion? Don't expect Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to embrace her new mom and dad with open arms. Jennifer Morrison told Entertainment Weekly that Emma "didn't anticipate how much resentment she'd have for [her parents] giving her up."

Forced bonding: Indeed, it might take some forced bonding time for Emma and Mary Margaret/Snow to work out their relationship. But what kind of bonding? TVLine says to "think Lost," so many fans think mom and daughter might get stuck in an alternate world and/or timeline somehow. But what would that mean for Charming/Snow?

Charming's anger: Charming is definitely pissed at Regina (Lana Parrilla) for separating him from his daughter.

Charming as granddad: It also looks like David/Charming will get some bonding time in with his grandson. He even teaches Henry (Jared Gilmore) how to swordfight

Charming as Sheriff? Set photos from the new season make it look like David/Charming has taken over as Sheriff — he's wearing a gun holster and everything. (Does he even know how to use a gun?)

Titillating and satisfying: Ginnifer told Digital Spy that Snow and Charming's relationship will be "titillating" this season, saying "I think it's going to be as satisfying and frustrating as it was last season, but for totally different reasons!"

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
