When they teased “Magic Is Coming” on Once Upon a Time Season 2, apparently they didn’t just mean the purple smoke monster cloud in Storybrooke.

We’ve got new wizards in the house!

The one and only Dr. Whale (David Anders) recently teased that Season 2, Episode 5 will knock our socks off, but it sounds like the show also has some cool plans for Episode 7.

According to Spoiler TV, OUAT is casting for two Episode 7 roles. Anita, age 45-50, is described as "a sexy sorceress who has lived apart from her family due to their fear of her magic." E! also reported on the newbies, calling Anita "earthy" and "devoted to taking in lost souls," but "ferocious" when protecting her own.

The second role is Quinn, age 25-30, a warlock "who was disowned by his parents" because of his powers. "He discovered a group of people who share his belief that magical abilities are good rather than bad." Based on the description of Anita, it sounds like she's the one who takes him in. Even though he wants to use magic for good, E! warns that this is one warlock you "don't want to cross.

So, these character were raised by Muggles and are now at Hogwarts? Wait, wrong series...

But seriously, is it too early to start wondering who these people are in the larger scheme of things, and how they may relate to folks we already know?

Given that this season will introduce Lancelot, hearing about a warlock immediately makes us think of Merlin. In that case, perhaps the sexy sorceress is Morgan le Fay/Morgana. Or maybe this will turn out to be a twist on the Sorcerer's Apprentice. After all, the Mickey Mouse take on that tale (from Fantasia) is still one of Disney's most iconic images.

Who do you think these characters are?

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
