It’s potentially bad news bears for fans of Once Upon A Time’s newest villain, Tamara (Sonequa Martin-Green). According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress behind the role of Neal’s two-faced fiance has just been promoted to series regular on AMC’s The Walking Dead. Good news for Sonequa and The Walking Dead, potentially bad news for us ... unless you don't like Tamara, that is.

It’s hard to say how (or even if) the casting upgrade will affect OUAT, especially since we still have three episodes left in Season 2. Anything could happen (i.e. any character could die), and Tamara is more likely than most to meet an untimely end.
It looks like she and Greg may be kidnapping Henry in the two-part finale. She’s kidnapping a kid that has not one, but two magic-wielding women as mothers, as well as the Dark One for a grandfather. And that’s not even counting grandparents Snow White and Prince Charming, who have their fair share of villain-defeating on their collective resume.
That said, we hope this news doesn’t mean Tamara is off the show. We like that there is a villain who, unlike Rumple or Regina, doesn’t have a vested interest in Storybrooke or its residents (i.e. who is not somehow related to the Charming family, even if it via an adoptive son). That makes her so much more dangerous.
On the other hand, there are a lot of characters on this show, and not enough screen time for all of them, so maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad thing to say goodbye to a newer one? Greg can always carry on alone.
