Once Upon a Time is tapping into even more fairy tales and other stories on Season 2 — with an emphasis on stories that have been adapted into Disney animated films. So why not 101 Dalmatians?

Some wise Oncers have sniffed out some clues from the news that Annabeth Gish will be joining OUAT on Episode 7 as a character named Anita, a beautiful, charismatic and mysterious leader of a pack of humans who turn out to be wolves. She is reportedly "devoted to taking in lost souls," but "ferocious" when protecting her own. We first thought about our very favorite wolf —  Little Red Riding Hood (Meghan Ory) — and guessed maybe Anita would be a relative. But what if this Anita is based on the Anita in 101 Dalmatians?

In the Disney film — based on the children's novel, The Hundred and One Dalmatians, by Dodie Smith — Anita and her dalmatian, Perdita, fall in love with Roger and his dalmatian, Pongo. The two pups eventually give birth to 101 15 dalmatians. They work to save their dalmatians from Cruella De Vil, an old schoolmate of Anita's, and end up caring for many more littled spotted buddies.

What do you think? The OUAT Anita is a leader of wolves, which could be the show’s version of dogs. Do you think they’ll do a twist on that for her story? Will Regina (Lana Parrilla) be her Cruella or maybe Anita is the Cruella? Or would they add Cruella to the story at another point? Does this sound possible to you, or do you think they will take Anita and her storyline in a different direction?

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
