Once Upon a Time airs on ABC, which is owned by Disney — hence the use of Disney characters — but that doesn't mean it's all sweetness and light-hearted entertainment. Things have already gotten pretty dark for our beloved characters, and we should expect more evil to emerge on OUAT Season 2.

Jamie Chung (Mulan) told Entertainment Tonight this season will get "stranger and darker."

“People are going to think we're a cable show with how dark it gets,” Jamie said. “The dream [that Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Aurora (Sarah Bolger) shared, and Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) met through] is hugely important to the rest of the season.”

Not only will the netherworld nightmare be important, but it might actually be used for good. “We discover that we can use to our benefit — but then, whatever can be used for good can also be used for evil,” Jamie continues. “That's a big theme in the next two episodes. What was once good can be used for evil, and vice versa. It's really important to keep that in mind over the next two weeks.”

Will do, thanks! That sounds like Cora (Barbara Hershey) will be pulling even more evil action to thwart the Charming family reunion we’re dying to see. Other things we’re dying to see? More of Mulan’s personal story, beyond trying to keep Aurora alive out of unrequited love for Prince Philip (Julian Morris). Jamie teased, “You'll see a snippet of [Mulan’s] past. Everything ties in very nicely this season, I'll say that.”

How do you think Mulan’s story will fit into Season 2?
