The curse is broken in Storybrooke on Once Upon a Time Season 2. Fairytale Land natives now have their memories back. That's not always a good thing.

Take Archie Hopper (Raphael Sbarge). The bespectacled psychologist now remembers that 1) he’s actually Jiminy Cricket and 2) in a failed attempt to foil his con artist parents, Jiminy accidentally turned Gepetto’s parents into wooden puppets. Oops.

Raphael talked to Once Upon a Fan about Archie’s struggle with his memories in Season 2. "I love the conflict, of course — makes for good fun for the acting department,” Raphael said. “But, needless to say, Archie is trying to make sense of the huge change, and it has not always been an easy transition to do so. As well, so many other folks are looking to reevaluate their choices... So, with things as they are now, I feel like there is some job security ahead for this guy as a therapist, in a town which has been turned on its head. As well, it will be so interesting to see when Archie has his own ‘Crisis of Conscience’ — as yet, not on the radar, but will be a fascinating when [the showrunners] get to visit that.”

Raphael said he’s looking forward to learning more about “this kind, passionate, gentle man” who always tries to do the right thing. He’s also curious, as he said, about seeing Archie’s faith get tested. Then there’s the idea of Dr. Hopper getting a love interest. How about some cricket/fairy action between Jiminy and The Blue Fairy (Keegan Connor Tracy)? Or maybe some cricket/wolf love with Ruby/Little Red Riding Hood (Meghan Ory)? Perhaps one of the new ladies coming to OUAT (Mulan? Ariel?) will take a shine to the good doc.

What would you like to see happen to Dr. Hopper in Season 2?

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
