On Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 3: “Lady of the Lake,” another hero emerged in an unlikely way. In flashbacks to the time when Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) got married, we met Lancelot (Sinqua Walls), a fallen knight who was supposed to be working for King George (Alan Dale).

Lancelot wound up on Snow and Charming’s side, and worked with Charming’s mother to make sure Snow could break King George’s infertility curse. He even officiated their wedding!

So it was shocking to find out that, in present-day Fairytale Land, the Lancelot that Snow thinks she’s reunited with was actually Cora (Barbara Hershey) in disguise. Should we believe Cora’s story that she killed Lancelot a long time ago?

In a series of lightning round questions, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis were asked by TVGuide, “Even though Cora says she killed Lancelot, have we seen the last of him?”

Adam answered “No,” and Edward said, “Why does everyone just believe what Cora says? Not one person on the blogs have doubted Cora, as if she's the most trustworthy character that we have! She's not Snow White, for God's sake!”

Fair enough! Sounds like Cora was just making that story up, and that Lancelot is still around in Fairytale Land. Has he changed since the curse was cast and then broken? Will he still be fighting alongside Snow? Only time will tell!
