August (Eion Bailey) finally returns on Season 2, Episode 18: “Selfless, Brave, and True." About time! We've taken a close look at the sneak peeks of the episode to see what else we can learn before it airs.
Tamara's coming to town. In the sneak peek below, Neal confesses to Emma that he invited his fiancée, Tamara, to Storybrooke. Emma immediately freaks because hello, a town full of magic combined with a (supposedly) normal person equals potential disaster. Will Tamara cause trouble? It sure looks like it in the preview of the episode.
Hook's loose. In that sneak peek we also learn that Hook is no longer safely locked up in Neal's apartment. Will he return to Storybrooke to cause more trouble?
Henry's book. At the beginning of the above clip, Henry's fairy tale book reappears. About time! We still want to know who wrote that and how it got into Storybrooke. Hopefully we'll get some answers, soon. (August did seem to know something about the book when he first showed up in Season 1, so maybe this is the week we get clarity. We can only hope.)
A long awaited confession. Finally, in the sneak peek below, Marco/Geppetto confesses to Snow and Emma that he totally screwed them over, lying so he could send August/Pinocchio into our world with Emma instead of letting Snow accompany her daughter.
"All my fault." Marco starts his confession with "this is all my fault," and Snow responds that children make their own decisions and he can't blame himself. What, exactly, are they talking about? What's the "this" that Marco thinks is his fault? Is it something specific, or just the general pain and angst everyone is dealing with?
Snow's dark side. Snow responds to Marco's confession with a slap. Is that her dark side coming out?
Regina remembers Greg. In a final sneak peek, which you can watch here, Regina confronts the outsider, Greg, having realized that he's little Owen from last week's flashback all grown up.
What happened to Greg's dad? What happened to Greg's dad, Kurt? In that same sneak peek Regina claims he left town not long after Owen did, but Greg's not buying it.
Threats, threats, everywhere. Greg comments that Regina hasn't aged at all. Regina tells him he needs to leave Storybrooke, or, well, sometimes people do "just disappear." Will Regina hurt Greg? Will Greg expose Storybrooke? Enquiring minds can't wait to find out.
