On Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 3: “Lady of the Lake”, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) will be trapped together, as promised. But based on new details about the episode from ABC, it sounds like they’re stuck in a very strange, unfamiliar place.

According to ABC, “Emma and Mary Margaret, with the aid of Mulan [Jamie Chung], Aurora [Sarah Bolger] and brave knight Lancelot [Sinqua Walls], attempt to find a portal that will bring them back to Storybrooke.” Could they somehow be back in the Fairytale Land? Or perhaps a different world altogether?

Also, Jefferson (Sebastian Stan) is back! “Henry tries to talk Jefferson into reuniting with his daughter.” Odd, since we would think that Grace, and her Storybrooke parents, must remember that Jefferson is her real father, and would presumably want them to reunite without Henry's (Jared Gilmore) help.

In Fairytale Land, “On the eve of meeting Prince Charming’s [Josh Dallas] mother, King George [Alan Dale] poisons Snow White, and the only antidote lies within the waters of the Lady of the Lake.” Yikes! We thought Snow had been poisoned enough at this point. But this plot point will prove intriguing, since it means Charming’s adoptive father is back, and may have cemented an alliance with The Evil Queen.

Also back is Regina’s terrifying mother Cora (Barbara Hershey), who we can only guess is up to no good.

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
