Whether you've loved or loathed the Fairytale Land plot on Once Upon a Time Season 2, you'll probably enjoy Season 2, Episode 9: “Queen of Hearts” (airing December 2). A new press release from ABC makes it sound like that storyline is wrapping up — but it's not going out without a bang!

First, the press release reveals that, in Fairytale Land, "Cora [Barbara Hershey] and Hook [Colin O’Donoghue] face off with Mary Margaret [Ginnifer Goodwin] and Emma [Jennifer Morrison] in a race to secure the compass."
OK. Let's pause there. Two things we notice: First, it sounds like Hook has teamed back up with Cora by this episode. Second: Don't Mary Margaret and Emma already have the compass? Do they lose it? Or does this just mean that Cora and Hook are trying to catch our heroines and steal the compass before they get to Storybrooke?
Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, "Regina [Lana Parrilla] and Mr. Gold [Robert Carlyle], desperate to keep Cora out, put a plan into action that would kill anyone entering the portal — placing Mary Margaret’s and Emma’s lives in danger as well."
Again, some thoughts: Why is Rumple so "desperate" to keep Cora away? He never seemed that worried about her before. Is he afraid his Storybrooke powers won't equal hers? Or is he really more worried about Hook? Either way, we're fairly positive David Nolan/Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and especially Henry (Jared Gilmore) are not going to be happy with Regina if they find out she put Snow and Emma at risk.
But wait! There's more. In the flashback, "Captain Hook travels to Wonderland and meets up with a vengeful Queen of Hearts."
OK, we're going to call it now: Cora is totally the Queen of Hearts.
