As many diehard Once Upon a Time fans know, there is a certain unofficial ‘ship that has hordes of devotees. But Ginnifer Goodwin (Mary Margaret Blanchard/Snow White) wants to remind those fans that the chances that the show will explore this particular relationship are pretty low.

Dubbed by many fans as “Swan Queen,” Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Regina (Lana Parrilla) have made quite a splash in the ‘shipper pool. When Emma gave up her son Henry (Jared Gilmore), Regina adopted him in Storybrooke. Emma came to Storybrooke on her 28th birthday just to drive Henry back home, but wound up fighting a totally different battle: Getting her son back. These rivals certain sizzle on screen, and some fans see that chemistry as sexual.

Ginnifer recently tweeted her own take on Swan Queen.

“‘Twas an uproar over my response to a ? about ‘Emma’ & ‘Regina’ making out on OUAT,” she wrote on September 6. “I fully support homosexuality. It's doubtful Emma … will be ‘making out’ with her stepGRANDMOTHER. Now Snow and Charming on the other hand...”

So for those hoping OUAT will truly break tradition and create a new fairy tale in which two women find true love in each other’s arms, you may have to wait a little longer. But we can still enjoy those tension-filled Swan Queen moments, of which there are sure to be plenty in Season 2.

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
