Poor Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket (Raphael Sbarge) is one of the few characters on Once Upon a Time who has yet to have a love interest, in this world or Fairytale Land. Many fans want to know: What gives?

Wetpaint Entertainment chatted with Raphael Sbarge, and in Part Two of our interview (read Part One here) he hinted at a potential romance for Archie, and dished on if we'll be seeing more Jimminy in flashbacks.

Wetpaint Entertainment: So, you've said we will probably see more Archie and Henry scenes this season. Are there any other characters we can look forward to Archie interacting with more?

Raphael Sbarge: If I tell you, I let the cat from the bag. But let me answer your question with a question — one of the things that I get asked all the time, maybe the single biggest question is: Who's Archie hooking up with, basically. I get it via Twitter all the time, and even interviews. Who is it? I understand there are even websites that ask that question, and are taking polls!

There's love blooming, obviously, in Storybrooke, for a lot of folks. And we did, all of us — that is the cast — went off, for ComicCon, and they had us go home with cameras, and basically we could answer the question of "What we'd like in a mate." Like a Storybrooke.com dating website.

That was hilarious!

Yeah! So, I am anticipating that that will be answered. It could go six ways 'til Sunday. So in terms of — I can't say who I'm going to be involved with but, in answering your question with a question: I'm excited to see where that goes.

Will we see more flashbacks with you?

There is more Jiminy Cricket coming, for sure!

What about Jiminy and Gepetto — or Archie and Marco in Storybrooke? Will we see more of that friendship?

There is some of that. What [the writers] have done is that they've established a core group of us that hold the foundation of the story. They have gone back to the Lost handbook of storytelling. In the second season [of Lost] they brought in a whole bunch of new characters, and they've done that, similarly, with us. And they told as much — "we're bringing in a lot of new characters." And they've been really exciting. Hook, and Mulan, and Sleeping Beauty, and Lancelot — gosh, there's been a bunch!

What they do, when they do that, they answer some new questions, but of course they leave pregnant with possibility a whole bunch of other ones that we get to go back and answer.

The simplest way to say this is that they have this enormous canvas, at this point, where they could go anywhere. They have a ton of stories that they could go back and answer and I think, given time, they will. Considering that [a few] weeks ago, I guess, OUAT jumped in the ratings, and they were now the highest rated Network show, things look good that this show will be around for a while.

They found their audience, and it seems that these characters have captured the imagination of folks. They have done something where my kids, who are eight and 10, who didn't necessarily know these characters, have been introduced for the first time and my mother who's 80, who knows these characters and grew up with them — both sides of that spectrum are watching this show, which is incredible.

I think that they continually track for this to go anywhere. There are stories like the Gepetto story, there are stories like the Pinocchio story, and there are stories both in Archie's past and what his private life is, and what his home life is, and anything else, that I'm certain will emerge as time continues to moves forward. I believe that they've got big plans for this to go on for quite some time.
