Although Once Upon a Time didn't grace Entertainment Weekly's Fall TV Preview cover like we'd hoped, the show did get an awesome two page spread, including some gorgeous portraits — and some killer spoilers. We've collected some of the most telling hints about Season 2here.

Epic scale: Ginnifer Goodwin (Mary Margaret Blanchard/Snow White) tells EW that this season is even "more epic" than the first. "Last year felt like we were creating a weekly movie; now it's like we're creating weekly blockbusters."
How does magic work? Magic is back in Storybrooke, but EW hints that "the Queen [Lana Parrilla] quickly learns it doesn't work quite the same." Interesting. We wonder if it will still always come at a price? That's one thing we hope doesn't change.
How does Emma feel about her parents? Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) says that Emma "didn't anticipate how much resentment she'd have for [her parents] giving her up." It looks like the road to a happy Charming reunion won't be smooth at all.
An angry prince. On the other hand, Josh Dallas (David Nolan/Prince Charming) assures EW that Charming will be very angry at Regina for depriving him of his daughter for so long. "She's got a lot to answer for." A Charming/Regina confrontation? Yes please!
A new structure: Most intriguing of all is the news that not only will we keep getting Fairytale Land flashbacks (which we already knew), but there will also be "flashes of pre-curse Storybrooke" (which we interpret to mean pre-curse breaking Storybrooke, since as far as we know the town didn't exist before the curse. Right?). And yes, this means "many of the cast members will now play their characters during three different time periods." Included on the list of people portraying three versions of their character? Emilie de Ravin (Belle)!
