The Force may soon be with Once Upon a Time.

Disney has acquired Lucasfilm — and that could open up some crossover possibilities for Star Wars and OUAT, since ABC also has Disney as a parent company. It’s possible The Powers That Be won’t try to tap into that world at all but, just in case, Entertainment Weekly posted a poll yesterday, asking readers which Star Wars character should be on OUAT. At this point, Yoda seems to be winning with 30 percent, followed by Darth Vader with 14.5 percent, Chewbacca with 13.5 or so, and Ewoks close behind. They didn’t offer options for Han Solo, Princess Leia or Luke Skywalker. Would it be too hard to find new actors to live up the originals or would fans welcome still more hotties on the show?

Anyway, Yoda does seem like a strangely natural fit in our Fairytale Land. If Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) were to go up that beanstalk on Season 2, Episode 6 and see Yoda just chillin' there with the Giant (Jorge Garcia), it wouldn't even seem that strange. They are trying to get to Storybrooke and he could tell them "Do, or do not, there is no try."

What do you think about Star Wars characters eventually coming to OUAT? Heck yes? Absolutely not? Not sure?

Catch the next new episode of Once Upon a Time on Sunday, November 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
