Most OUAT fans have strong feelings about who Emma (Jennifer Morrison) should wind up with romantically. Between Henry’s (Jared Gilmore) father, her erstwhile guardian angel August (Eion Bailey), and the slyly appealing Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), she’s not short on options. But who's the right choice?

Even though there’s plenty of sex appeal in an Emma/Hook coupling, we doubt that Emma could ever put up with Hook’s evil side. Plus, he’s now a reluctant partner of Cora (Barbara Hershey), who is (literally?) the mother of all evil. As a champion for what is good and right, this union seems hopeless from the get-go.

Then there’s August, who grew up with Emma in the same orphanage. He made a solemn promise to make sure she followed her destiny, which included breaking The Evil Queen’s (Lana Parrilla) curse after her 28th birthday. So far, so good. But we know very, very little about August, except that his Fairytale character is Pinocchio and he kind of peaced out instead of watching over her — twice. Is there something else we need to know before signing off on an August/Emma romance?

Then there’s Neal, who many OUAT fans theorize is Baelfire, Rumplestiltskin’s (Robert Carlyle) long lost son. Emma and Neal fell in true love when they met, and immediately began planning a life together. But Neal cared so much about Emma that whatever was in August’s magic box convinced him to let her go. That doesn’t mean he’s given up, however. And wouldn’t it make the most sense for Emma to wind up with Henry’s father in the end?

Of course, then there's other options that are less likely to happen on the show but are still popular with the fans, like the fan-favorite Emma/Regina (Lana Parrilla) (would the show ever go there?), Emma/Sheriff Graham (Jamie Dornan) (which would be more likely to work out if he weren't dead), and Emma/Jefferson (Sebastian Stan) (whose appearances are sporadic at best).

Tell us who you think Emma should be with in the poll below!

Update 12/27: Sorry guys, there was a problem with the last poll not showing all of the options (Swan Queen Nation, we would never intentionally leave Regina off!), which we missed over the holidays. This version should work!

Once Upon a Time Season 2 returns on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
