Once Upon a Time has a weird relationship to the concept of true love. Obviously, it exists — and maybe gives Emma (Jennifer Morrison) powers? — but it's unclear if it's a once in a lifetime thing. Losing her true love, Daniel (Noah Bean), is what sent Regina (Lana Parrilla) down a path of evil to begin with. But now that she has let go of him, is it time to move on?

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis told TV Guide that Regina will be "looking" for love in the second half of Season 2. But who do you think she should be with?

Some fans think newbie Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) would be the perfect match, and Lana Parrilla is all for it though that pairing could turn out to be a misstep in Regina's path to redemption unless they somehow help each other be better.

Other fans think her relationship with Archie (Raphael Sbarge) could move beyond that of therapist and patient. She also has all sorts of interesting backstory and tension with Jefferson (Sebastian Stan), Dr. Whale (David Anders), and Sheriff Graham (Jamie Dornan) (who is dead, but hey, who says he can't come back somehow?).

Meanwhile, Emma/Regina shippers are a force to be reckoned with. With their intense chemistry and Regina's current redemption arc, it's actually not hard to see how their mutual love of Henry (Jared Gilmore) could bring Emma and Regina together — if the writers were willing to have a romance between two central female characters.

Of course, if none of the current characters appeal to you, there's always the possibility that someone new will catch Regina's eye instead!

Who do you think she should be with?

Once Upon a Time Season 2 returns on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
