We’ve been a bit hard on Once Upon a Time lately. (What can we say? We’re a critical bunch.) But we still adore the fairy tale drama for its true-love lovers and its guy-linered pirates. Here is a list of the five things we loved best about OUAT Season 2.

As soon as we heard about Once Upon a Time’s spin-off, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, we were beside ourselves with excitement. Though the Mad Hatter won’t be appearing, the whimsical (and twisted) tales of Alice and her trip down the rabbit hole highlight a part of the show that we haven’t seen much of, and it allows for a unique expansion of the hit fairy tale drama.
