Woman Credits Onesie Pajamas For Saving Baby’s Life During Surprise Labor
Pajamas with feet are one of the world’s most cozy inventions, and there’s nothing better to wear when winter temperatures dip. But did you know pajamas with feet have other important uses? One UK mom says her footed onesie PJs “saved her baby’s life,” by catching the infant when the mother gave birth into the leg of her loungewear.
According to Time UK, Jessica Wynter was in labor and on her way to the hospital when her son Kye was born in the taxi. Luckily, the little guy was handily caught in the leg of his mom’s snuggly PJs.
Jessica’s mom told Metro, “I undid the zip of her onesie and there he was, tucked up safely in the garment’s leg. If she hadn’t had it on I dread to think what might have happened…”
Good save, mom! Jessica says the pajamas have been washed (ew?) and will be saved as a keepsake of the blessed event.
