The Opening Ceremony From Sochi in the Viggle Minute (VIDEO)

Tonight’s the night! The 2014 Winter Games are celebrating the Opening Ceremony in Sochi, Russia, and our favorite star athletes are coming out in force to show their support for the international event.

And what will they be wearing for the special occasion? Just some custom designed sweaters created by American fashion icon Ralph Lauren. But not just any sweaters, mind you. Sweaters that have set the nation’s tongues a-waggin' as we weigh in on whether or not the final result truly captures the American spirit. A tall order for one piece of clothing, don’t you think?

Of course, yesterday’s Viggle Minute shared the perhaps startling announcement (we know we were startled) that the Games technically kicked off yesterday with the introduction of a new sport: team figure skating. Did you watch the first three hours of coverage? Track it avidly on Twitter? Write your first email of appreciation to Bob Costas and his new pair of lenses?

If yes, you’re in good company since that was pretty much all we did last night. If no, don’t worry, friend. You still have two weeks and change ahead to make your Olympic dreams come true. The Opening Ceremony will air on NBC starting at 7:30 p.m. ET and while watching, don’t forget one very important step: Viggling!
